사진책 'Framed In Colours'는 연대기를 따르거나 특정한 서사의 얼개를 만드는 대신, 보는 이 가 이미지에 오롯이 집중하고 이미지들 사이의 흐름을 감각적으로 좇을 수 있도록 구성했으며, 연작 형식의 프 로젝트 하나를 단위 삼아 묶고 각 연작을 구상하던 전후에 작가가 남긴 노트를 함께 엮었다. 작가 노트는 사진 을 '무엇'으로 읽는 대신 '왜'와 '어떻게'로 읽을 수 있도록 돕는다. 한 권의 사진책은 책 안에 한정된, 폐쇄적인 이야기를 강요하지 않는다. 책은 윤정미의 사진이 그래 온 것처 럼, 이미지를 통한 한 순간의 연극적 만남을 꿈꾼다.

Rather than following a chronology or creating a specific narrative, "Framed In Colours" is organised to allow the viewer to focus on the images and follow the flow between them in a sensory way, with each serialised project as a unit and the artist's notes written before and after conceiving each series. The artist's notes help us to read the photographs in terms of why and how rather than what. A book of photographs does not impose a limited, closed narrative. The book dreams of a momentary theatrical encounter through images, just as Yoon's photographs do.
